NETS Work-Home resources provide employers and their employees with information on a variety of traffic safety-related topics to minimize crash-risk, reduce injuries and fatalities. These programs can improve the safety and health of employees on and off the job, their family members, and members of the community in which they live and work.
Motor vehicle crashes cost employers a staggering $60 billion each year. One-third of the cost to employers, or some $20 billion results from off-the-job injuries to workers and their benefit-eligible dependents. NETS Work-Home resources are designed to help employers reduce their risk by educating employees, their families and members of their communities about safe driving practices.

There is also a section for community organizations outlining how to partner with employers to reach working parents and raise awareness about this issue locally. To complete the guide, a “take-home” section is provided for parents, filled with useful information and resources to help them be informed about underage drinking and driving, as well as communication strategies to discuss these issues with their children.
